As an artist with a scientific background, I think my role is similar to that of an enthusiastic researcher. Some may see this as an apparent scattering, but I see it as a long-term, purposeful exploration. Using any medium doesn’t mean limiting myself to creating the same thing over and over again; on the contrary, it means embarking on a series of uncertain attempts. Once I’ve mastered a particular process or theme, I’ll naturally move on to something else.<\/p>

For me, art is a journey of discovery. It’s this relentless quest for ideas and techniques that allows me to push back the boundaries of what’s possible. For me, each artwork represents an opportunity to explore uncharted territory, to test my creativity and discover new ways of expressing my art.<\/p>

In a world that often values repetition and conformity, I tend to free myself from these constraints and chart my own course as a “pixel painter”.<\/p>

Digital painting is a separate category within digital art<\/a>. I have the same choice as in traditional painting when it comes to tools: brushes, pencils, combs, choice of support (paper, canvas, wood) and so on. I mainly use digital pastels on a paper texture.<\/p>\n

They are not always identical from one painting to the next. The starting point can be a blank canvas, or an inspiring digital image.<\/p>\n

A hand-painted piece can sometimes remain unfinished for months without me finding a conclusion to it. Occasionally, I’m inspired to use digital tools to complete it, making it a symbiosis of traditional and digital painting. I make sure that the original strokes remain present and even be accentuated sometimes.<\/p>\n

During digital exploration, I listen to the moment and my instincts. I’m waiting for the surprise: that intimate feeling of ha! ha! when the mind goes into motion to reframe an inspired and inspiring composition. My paintings come from an abstract perspective, and my main muses are the elements of nature.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

I do not make any preliminary sketches and begin with no intention of reaching a particular outcome. As an observer of the process, I am amazed at the choice of colors from which essentially organic lines and shapes emerge.<\/p>\n

What wants to be brought to life through me manifests itself with the application of colors with pastels or brushes. I lay out and layer more or less dense materials on a sheet of paper or canvas. I let my gaze discover what wants to reveal itself, and I allow myself to see what is perceptible, no matter if it is perceived only several days later.<\/p>\n

The starting point for each painting is improvised movements and gestures. Despite my intention of abstraction, more defined forms or characters may emerge during the execution.<\/p>\n
